The site is in a prominent and strategically important location on the north side of Armoury Way, a busy trunk road that separates Wandsworth town centre from the Thames riverside.  It is vacant, brownfield land that, together with the gas holder site to the north, gives the area an unattractive, derelict appearance.

Our development will transform the location by providing high quality buildings in a green landscaped setting that will form one of many new routes through to a pocket park proposed on the bank of the re-discovered River Wandle as part of the neighbouring SGN development.

The Masterplan Context

The Wandle Delta Masterplan sets out the Council’s vision for the regeneration of this area. Our scheme will conform with it by delivering new, safe and attractive routes for pedestrians and cyclists through the site, together with generously landscaped public spaces including a central public plaza for all to enjoy.

In line with the Council’s Local Plan policy for tall buildings, the development will not be higher than 10 storeys.

In early May 2024 we held two drop-in public exhibitions where residents could meet our team and learn about the changes we have made to our proposals as a result of feedback from local people.  To view the exhibition boards please click here.
